Daddy Got His Wings!!!

After much drama, Eric finally received his wings Friday and became a Naval Aviator. The ceremony was very nice and the girls got to help me pin on his wings. It has been a very long road to get here and we are all extremely proud of Eric and his accomplishments. Grace especially, since in her eyes Daddy's wings don't make him a pilot...they make him a fairy princess.

When I was trying to get some pictures of the girls in their new jammies, Grace asked me a question and I was able to capture her expression. She said, "Mama, Annabelle and I would like chocolate chip cookies. Do you think you could do that for me?"

It seems that the late night antics of Miss Annabelle have finally caught up to her....she could not bring herself to breakfast without her shades.

A Few Words From Miss Grace

After spending a couple hours in her room (Grace had been sent their to pick up her toys and told she couldn't come out until she was done) I walked in and said, "It doesn't look like much cleaning is going on in here." Grace smiled and said, "But you sure look beautiful, Mama."

This would make her daddy happy.....Grace walks up to me as I am looking at maternity clothes on the computer. She asks, "whatcha lookin' for Mama?" I told her I was looking at some shirts and she replied, "but Mama, you don't need any shirts...You are already wearing a shirt."

And last but not least, she said, "Mama, I need to talk to you. I need you to come over here and cut my hair and then you can do my nails. And then I can have a cookie. Do you think you could do that for me, Mama?"
